About Us
Our Story
Canadian Industrial Hydraulics Ltd. began as a hydraulic surplus company servicing the Edmonton region in 1987.
Over the following two years, there was a significant increase in demand for our products. As our inventory continuously expanded and our customer base grew, we created a hydraulic repair facility specializing in the repair of hydraulic piston pumps and motors.
In May 2001, Canadian Industrial Hydraulics Ltd. moved into a new 12,000 square foot hydraulic repair shop, increasing our capacity to repair hydraulic pumps and motors used in a large range of equipment.
Alongside our increase in square footage and inventory, we have added to our number of service technicians to facilitate rapid turn-around. Two electrically driven test benches ensure all pumps and motors meet factory efficiency and performance specifications. Currently, we are able to repair equipment for oilfield, agriculture, construction, mining, and forestry industries. We offer a substantial exchange program for many manufacturers and models.

Hydraulic pump repair
Our hydraulic repair veterans have the capabilities and experience to repair hydraulic pumps from any manufacturer and restore them to peak efficiency.
Testing
With our choice of 125 HP and 250 HP test benches, we are able to simulate the operating conditions appropriate to your unit, ensuring that it performs to machine and manufacturers’ specifications.
Hydraulic motor repair
Our hydraulic repair veterans have the experience, ability, and expertise necessary to test, repair and rebuild all varieties and brands of hydraulic motors.
Exchange
We have a substantial exchange line for many manufacturers and models. If we have an exchange unit available for any unit to be repaired that is far more economical, we will offer this option to you.
Lapping
As part of a repair or contracted lapping work, our 24” and 36” lapping tables give us the capability of reconditioning a wide range of parts.
